My mom has always been dear to me. She gave me life, and though at times has had occasion to threaten to take it away, she has always been my biggest supporter. There is one day of the year when I get to celebrate all that my mom has done for me and that’s mother’s day. This mother’s day I am giving her the gift of a day off from house renovations, from cooking meals, from worrying and fretting about what me and the rest of the family is doing, and taking care of her every whim and desire.

In order to attempt this sort of action my brother, my dad and I have all had to mobilize to take on the job normally performed by one very talented individual. Between shopping, planning and cooking and organizing a day’s worth of family activities for four adults we’ve found out that none of us would be a good mom, at least not as good as mom is at it.
